Your Impact

We are growing! We are seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Counsellor to come on board and join our successful, multi-disciplinary team, where we have a fantastic culture and dedication to career development. Opportunities exist for an experienced consultant that is interested in delivering specialised services for complex needs cases, as well as less experienced consultants looking to make a start in the industry. The role involves:
Supporting people to recover and return to work and pre-injury activities using your clinical skills and knowledge;
Conducting a range of different assessment services including: Initial Needs, Vocational Career Counselling, Suitable Employment and Vocational Assessments;
Case management across various jurisdictions including RTWSA, Life Insurance, CTP and private industry;
Return to Life and Function Services;
Liaison with health professionals, Doctors, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients;
Opportunities to work with some of our national clients in their training and preventative spaces, along with handling unusual and complex cases.
We are flexible with working hours and we have scope for a full time or part time position.

We would also be interested in hearing from contractors in the area with availability.

About you:
Your expertise and communication skills will be what you are known for! You'll be curious and will continuously seek out ways to improve customer's experiences and outcomes. You will be qualified as a:

Rehabilitation Counsellor (full or associate ASORC), Nurse (AHPRA registration) or Social Worker (Australian Association of Social Workers registration); &
Interested or experienced in vocational rehabilitation service provision.

You'll also need:
Current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain);
Comcare experience highly regarded but not essential;
Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be given;
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking & problem solving;
Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach.
