Full Job Description
Federal government, inbound, multiple roles
Initial 3 month duration, with a view to extension, CBD location
$36.00 per hour, mid April commencement
We currently have a number of vacancies for experienced Customer Service Professionals. Our Federal Government client, conveniently located in the CBD, is currently seeking individuals who will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries directed through an inbound National Customer Service Line. This position requires staff to assess and resolve feedback in line with the Department’s complaints handling process.
Only candidates with Australian Citizenship are eligible to apply. Successful candidates must possess a National Police Clearance or be prepared to obtain a National Police Clearance within a tight timeframe.

Some of the duties of the role include:
Responding to client enquiries via phone and providing accurate and relevant information
Adhering to departmental KPI expectations and call volume requirements
Abiding by the APS Code of Conduct and values with internal and external stakeholders
Provision of customer service excellence

Skills and experience required:
Previous experience in a contact centre environment desirable, but not essential
Availability to commit to 37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday on an ongoing temporary basis
Sound interpersonal and communication skills
Good attention to detail with a sound focus on quality
Ability to commit to a minimum 6 month assignment
Resilience with experience in complaint handling
Previous federal or state government experience would be looked upon favourably
