Our Client is a well established, fun, fast paced company in Brisbane. For decades have been blending and integrating technologies to enhance the human experience for customers. They are seeking a Technical BDM to work as independent as possible. Along with supporting current customers, you will be required to manage and attract new clients and be able to produce rough design drawings or BOM. Crestron, Extron, Biamp, CISCO to name a few brands.

Our Client has long-standing relationships with over 100+ customers
Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Create business opportunities and new accounts
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of competitors offerings, capabilities and market trends
  • Effectively manage your forecast and sales pipeline
  • Contribute innovative thought-leading solutions, ideas and concepts to customers

Desired Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will be energetic, pro-active, highly motivated, commercially focused and not afraid to think outside the box.
You are excellent at developing and maintaining customer relationships with existing and targeted clients
  • Have a track record in sales (AV/ IT or associated technology desirable but not essential)
  • Embrace new and emerging technologies
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Possess strong organisation and time management skills with a high level of self-motivation
  • Have strong commercial skills
  • Be able to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the process
  • Be a strong negotiator with effective influencing skills
  • Be willing to travel nationally as required

Our Client offers a competitive salary commensurate with the skills, experience and qualifications of the candidate; a combination of base salary with a car component, computer, mobile phone and other equipment as required. In addition, we offer a generous commission and bonus scheme.
Remuneration range 60k – 90k plus super and vehicle.
