We are looking to recruit an Assistant Team Leader for our Onsite Events Labouring team. This role presents great opportunities for growth and development for the right candidate with the view to being promoted to a Team Leader within 6-12 months.

SCPH is a young and dynamic company. We supply event infrastructure including marquees, furniture, lighting and much more to events up and down the South Coast. We have a culture of excellence that has been built over many years and we are seeking an individual who fits the criteria to join our high performing team to take our business to the next level.

A typical day in the life of an Assistant Team Leader would involve

  • Loading and unloading trucks with the required event hire infrastructure according to paperwork and job requirements
  • Installing and dismantling marquees & setup of equipment onsite
  • Maintenance and cleaning of hire equipment
  • Support to the Senior Team Leader and Operations & Logistics Manager
  • Be able to lead a small team for successful deliveries and installations of equipment
  • Liaising onsite with the client to manage expectations and deliver an impeccable finished product

In addition to the above, if you have any of the following skills (or you are willing to work towards) that would be advantageous:

  • Forklift ticket
  • NSW Driving license - able to drive small C class trucks or have an MR License
  • Experience managing and motivating a small team
