Within the Brand and Marketing team the Partnerships Marketing Manager will have the scope to bring greater strategic opportunities to KPMG and value to our clients by driving our network of partnership organisations.

Your Opportunity

This role will drive aspirational client experiences that support revenue, relationship and reputational value for KPMG through its partnerships with organisations such as peak bodies, academic institutions and cultural venues. This is done through deep relationships, strategic alignment to business priorities, marketing campaign amplification and bespoke joint marketing initiatives.

  • Work with KPMG leaders to set the program’s annual strategy
  • Proactively seek future fit partnerships
  • Proactively find opportunities to maximise partnership investments
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and large sponsorship agreements to maximise value
  • Manage budgets
  • Account Manager role for strategic partnerships
  • Initiate, build and maintain relationships with partnership organisations through regular meeting and attending events

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Partnerships marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience at peak bodies/industry associations is a benefit but not essential
  • Strong ability and knowledge of partnership/sponsorship marketing, including being able to undertake assessment of partnerships/sponsorships to drive continual optimisation and unlocking new opportunities.
  • Experience in commercial negotiation and development of contractual agreements.
  • Strong understanding of a current macro and micro business issues - “Client issues” - and trends.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate at a senior level.
  • Strong understanding across all marketing channels – events, social, digital, media, communications
  • Confidence in liaising and articulating ideas with a range of stakeholders
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Team player, but can work independently
  • Knowledge of professional services preferred but not essential
