We currently have a contract opportunity until the end of the year (with view to extend for the right person) for a motivated Medical Information Associate to join our team.

Reporting to the Head of Central Medical Operations, this role will provide operational expertise within Central Medical in the delivery of Medical Information services for Sanofi in collaboration with Third Party Provider (TPP). Ideally you will be a self-motivated professional who is able to work independently on specified tasks and use initiative in reaching target points in a project.

Key priorities in this role:

  • Operational execution of Medical Information services for Sanofi in collaboration with TPP in line with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, relevant guidelines and Company quality documents

  • Management of Medical Information inquiries

  • Prepare, review and approve standard response documents (i.e. Q&A, FAQs, SRDs and other materials) for Sanofi products including appropriate training of TPP ahead of utilisation

  • Identifying appropriate opportunities to improve quality and impact of Medical Information content and service delivery

  • Reporting and liaising with other departments on quality and compliance issues as required

  • Complying with Sanofi Pharmacovigilance and Quality reporting responsibilities

  • Ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with all applicable act, codes, regulations, laws, guidelines

  • Participating in the preparation and conduct of internal and external audits including CAPAs as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years Medical Information experience within Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medicine, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences or related fields

  • Strong organisational, written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently, multitask and prioritise demands accordingly

  • Proficiency in literature searches with ability to evaluate clinical data to inform appropriate Medical Information responses

  • Strong understanding of applicable acts (e.g. Privacy Act Cth 1988), codes (e.g. Medicines Australia Code of Conduct), regulations, laws, guidelines and company quality documents pertaining to Pharmaceutical Industry is highly desirable
