JOB DESCRIPTION

Shopper Marketing Leader for the Stationery & Office Supplies Division as part of the Consumer Business. Management of 2 employees.


Lead localization and activation of priority programs to generate demand:

  • Category expert – Know the category, channels, customers and shoppers. Identify category growth that insight and shopper led.
  • Localization and execution of priority portfolio and programs.
  • Define and execute local Marketing Calendar of ATL and BTL activity.
  • Define local digital marketing programs to generate demand for key strategic partners. 
  • Execute on NPI with programs and promotions to drive growth for priority portfolios.
  • Evaluating the financial viability of various marketing tactics and managing budget. Optimize spend across Priority Portfolios.


Input to the area teams (Area portfolio, NPI and channel marketing):

  • Provide input to Marketing planning, program and calendar development to ensure executable at the customer.
  • Competitive intelligence
  • Ensure local regulatory and packaging compliance for portfolios/programs (dependent on area)
  • NPI voice of market, ideas, local needs, support - on global NPI team/with area new product marketers


Channel – Close collaboration with sales teams

  • Partner with Channel Sales Leader to identify Priority Channels, Portfolios and Customers. Align and execute de-prioritization with sales and marketing playbook.
  • Close alignment/partnership with sales teams to deliver programs. Build engagement between sales, operations and trade developer/analytics team.
  • Develop Joint Business Plans with KAM, presenting plans to customers. Develop key customer relationships –e.g., personal calls/visit.


Interfacing with broader area 3M team to meet customer’s requirements/local regulations/requirements


Selection Criteria:

  • Good experience in Business and Marketing education.
  • Excellence in marketing disciplines (price, portfolio, end-user, channel, communication).
  • Knows the customers and market dynamics, key market trends
  • Good knowledge of the product portfolio.
  • Experience working with Key Retailers.
  • Has the personality to convince and engage sales teams.
