    Job Details
    Disciplinary and technical lead of the grid connection engineering team ANZ and representative of
    Technology department in Australia
    Assessment of the progress of the projects and perform the necessary actions to ensure the Grid
    deliveries for ANZ
    Interface management and strategic discussions with internal stakeholders (Sales, Projects, etc)
    Prepares and keep the GC strategy updated for Australia and NZ
    Representative of SGRE in technical forums with TSOs (AEMO, ESCOSA), TNSPs…. for global or
    strategic topics
    Revision of the grid code updates in Australia and New Zealand
    Representant for Technology in technical discussions with the customer during the negotiation of new
    Technical direction and on-the-job training to grid and technology engineers
    Candidate Details
    MSc or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering degree or related degree
    Minimum of 7 years of hands-on work experience in grid connection modelling
    Knowledge of the challenges of grid integration of renewable energy
    Knowledge of Wind and Solar renewable energy systems
    Knowledge of battery energy storage systems
    Knowledge in modelling software – PSSE, PSCAD
    Profound knowledge of the NER and AEMO guidelines
    Experience dealing with TNSPs and DNSPs across Australia
    Communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team successful and to clearly communicate approved
    actions for accurate implementation
    Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative
    Ability to confidently and comfortably present technical solutions to key customers and respond in a
    timely manner to technical concerns and answer questions in a knowledgeable, articulate manner
    SCADA and electrical BoP knowledge would be a plus.
