Job summary

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and maintaining excellent food and service standards;
  • Encouraging safe work practises and working conditions;
  • Ensuring positive culture, providing leadership and motivation to staff members;
  • Supervising and training staff members;
  • Ensuring the restaurant is compliant with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and industry standards;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Being accountable for achieving financial targets, e.g. through maintaining records of financial transactions and budgets;
  • Understanding and dealing with customer expectations;
  • Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the restaurant;
  • Recruit, train and manage staff;
  • Ensuring staff respond proactively to customer issues, queries and complaints;
  • Meet and greet customers at front of house;
  • Coordinate with vendors and order suppliers as needed to ensure adequate supply;
  • Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability;
  • Maintaining financial records and budgets;
  • Overseeing the organisation of private functions and events;
  • Ensuring sage and clean working conditions.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Experience- at least 3 years demonstrated experience working in Hospitality at a management level.

Qualifications are desired but not essential.

Job Type: full time position

Salary: $54,000.00 to $55,000.00/ year
