About the role:

Located in our Adelaide head office your primary responsibility will be to deliver the next phase of our major transformation program. Reporting to the Project Director you will apply your extensive experience in delivering enterprise wide change programs to help Stratco achieve the intended business outcomes.

This is an opportunity to manage a broad and complex project that is well advanced in its journey to implement market leading core business platforms including a new cloud based ERP, new Reporting & Analytics suite, new Application Integration platform, new Point of Sale solution and more! The Senior Project Manager will develop and maintain the overall plan and will collaborate closely with project stream leads to help them deliver their components of the project in alignment with the broader plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and direct others in applying project management methodology and tools.
  • Manage and control project scope.
  • Develop and maintain overall project schedules and resource plans.
  • Proactively track and manage progress against plans and implement actions to remediate divergence from plans.
  • Lead and manage external implementation partners ensuring delivery is aligned to the agreed scope, timeline, cost and quality parameters.
  • Manage project issues and risks.
  • Manage, track and report on project costs.
  • Organise and deliver weekly Steering Committee status reports.
  • Develop, maintain and execute detailed cutover plans.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline or relevant role experience.
  • At least one industry recognised Project Management qualification.
  • At least 5 years experience in delivering enterprise wide projects.
  • At least 10 years experience in pure project and/or program management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering major process change through the employment of formal people Change Management methodologies.
  • Experience in delivering ERP implementations highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external delivery partners.
