The City of Warrnambool, located on the spectacular south west coast of Victoria, 3 hours’ drive from Melbourne, is the largest city in southwest Victoria. We are the major regional centre for healthcare, education, professional services and sport and culture in the region.
Warrnambool City Council has been providing quality childcare for families within the Warrnambool and surrounding districts for 36 years. Council’s childcare services provide more than just care. Educators formulate and deliver play based educational curriculums. They use an evidence based approach that supports each child’s development through experimentation and exploration to build and foster resilience for their lifelong learning.
Council is now seeking to appoint the below permanent full time key leadership positions working within our childcare environment:
Early Learning Coordinator
Required to lead the development of productive partnerships with contractors and other service providers to strengthen and facilitate children’s access to specific early years requirements
To provide a model of excellence in early childhood service provision ensuring a quality early childhood program that reflects the principles, practices and learning outcomes in accordance with the prescribed Early Years Learning frameworks.
Warrnambool City Council are also seeking candidates for the casual positions of: Early Childhood Educator Certificate III and Diploma (Centre Based Childcare and Kindergarten) and Early Childhood Teacher.
