Whitfield Minerals is a well established gypsum mining and manufacturing operation located at the southern end of Lake Cowan approximately 5km south west of the town of Norseman, WA. Whitfield Minerals' gypsum based products have been manufactured and supplied to the underground mining industry for more than 20 years.

Reporting to the Business Manager we are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the processing plant, including but not limited to management of all onsite personnel, controlling appropriate stock levels to meet customer order requirements, actively drive the preventative maintenance program along with fostering a safe working environment.

Essential criteria:

  • Sound working mechanical knowledge of processing plant and associated infrastructure. Along with fault-finding, diagnosis, repair & maintenance of mechanical components.
  • Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and inspection techniques.
  • Ability to carry out preventative measures of fixed plant machinery.

Desirable criteria:

  • Working at Heights & Confined Spaces Certificates
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Licence to perform High Risk Work Class LF
  • Proven competency in driving an Excavator, Dump Truck, Loader and Water Truck

Qualifications & Licenses:

  • WA Drivers Licence C Class
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
