Our client, a leading player within the Superannuation & Investments sector are looking for a Head of Fund Accounting to lead a team responsible for their Investment Accounting & Operations division.

Managing a large team, duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Management and leadership of Investment Accounting & Operations team
  • Managing the third party Custodian/Administrator relationships
  • Project management including systems deployment and other change
  • Presentation to clients as part of ongoing operational due diligence reviews
  • Review and calculation of management and performance fees
  • Lead operational review of the fund accounting, pricing and performance teams
  • Solve unique and complex fund and any related problems that have a broad impact on the business
  • Manage the development, implementation and enhancement of policies, processes and procedures
  • Manage external consultant relationships and oversee their

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Team leadership experience.
  • 10 + years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably in Superannuation Fund Administration, Asset Management or Custody.
  • In depth knowledge of investment control and performance fees calculation and unit pricing.
  • Deep understanding of financial operations & investment products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence.
