About the role

  • 1x Full time 12 month fixed term opportunity
  • 1x Part Time (3 day) 18 month fixed term opportunity

As a Mortgage Processing Officer in our Lending Operations unit, you will join a supportive, high performing team, reporting to the Mortgage Processing Manager. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment liaising with and providing support for our internal and external customers.

As a Mortgage Processing Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance of loan documentation in accordance with Greater Bank’s policies, procedures and legislative requirements;
  • Authorising loans ready for funding and coordinate settlement arrangements, including the certification of title;
  • Reviewing security documentation to protect Greater Banks’ interests and verification of loan conditions being met; and
  • Ensuring the continuous, timely and accurate work flow of documentation to meet service standards.

What we’re looking for

As the successful candidate you will have;

  • Strong customer service focus;
  • Experience in a lending or loans administration environment;
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications;
  • Ability to collaborate with a busy team and also autonomously;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Experience in a conveyancing environment, conducting settlements via the PEXA platform, attending property settlements and preparing documents to be registered with Land Registries is desirable, but not essential.
