This role is suited to a motivated individual with solid experience within the industrial space with sound knowledge of hydraulic systems and equipment.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and tidy workshop.
  • Machine complex bespoke actuators designed by CMA.
  • Stripe, asses, repair, build, and test customers cylinders.
  • Build and factory testing hydraulic power units for CMA project works.
  • Carry out customer site visits for general hydraulic servicing, troubleshooting, installation and commissioning of hydraulic systems.
  • General workshop duties as required.
  • Maintain accurate daily timesheet records and maintain accurate test records for equipment we assemble and test.
To be successful in this role you need:
  • Sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
  • Well-developed fitting, machining (lathes), and hand (e.g., honing, lapping, linishing) skills.
  • Solution-oriented person.
  • Attention to detail mindset.
  • Ability to participate in ongoing training with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Proven safety and quality focus & perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
