About the role - Loans Consultant- Part Time
Reporting to the Loans Team Leader in the Contract Centre, you will play a proactive role in supporting our customers in achieving their financial goals. You will act as the initial point of contact for inbound and outbound calls and web chat enquiries related to Personal and Home Loan enquires. You will be focussed primarily on business retention and growth of the customer base. You will actively participate in Sales and Marketing campaigns as well as complete enquiry and application requirements for responsible consumer lending.
This is a Part Time opportunity working between 8.30am and 18.00pm (flexible start times) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and an alternate Saturday shift between 8.00am and 13.00pm.
What we’re looking for
As the successful candidate you will have;
- An intuitive mindset, which will enable you to investigate customers’ true needs and promote products and services based on those requirements
- The ability to quickly learn and understand detailed information relative to Greater Bank’s products and services, which will enable you to explain this to our customers’ needs and provide key features and benefits
- The ability to identify gaps in our customers portfolio and offer additional products and services to enhance their banking relationship
- The ability to build rapport quickly with Greater Bank’s customers, ensuring we promote and maintain long lasting relationships
- Exceptional phone manner with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and dispute resolution skills
- A strong team focused working ethic with the ability to achieve individual and group objectives
- Demonstrated Personal Lending experience, Home Loan experience desirable
