About the Role...
Reporting to the Design & Construction Coordinator, the position of Design & Project Administrator will assist in ensuring that all projects are designed and fit out is undertaken in accordance with Roll’d brand guidelines.
Position Title: Project Administrator
Reporting to: Design & Construction Coordinator
Status: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the D&C Coordinator with day-to-day administrative tasks including:
- coordinate and facilitate project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, including site visits
- prepare meeting notes and/or documentation required for project meeting
- raising vendor purchase requisitions in a timely manner
- follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficiency of execution - Provide support to franchisees with maintenance and repair requests including:
- research and contact local contractors for maintenance and repair works
- directing franchisees to the correct supplier for service requests
- follow up with suppliers to ensure repair works are booked in and carried out - Attend sites as required
Key Competencies and Characteristics
- Basic knowledge and understanding of construction principles
- Basic understanding of contract administration
- Strong communication skills with an ability to listen and convey key messages accurately and affectively across a broad range of audience and stakeholders.
- Manage project budget and expenditures
- Ability to work autonomously but also as a part of a team
Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary education within a design and/or construction field desirable
- 2+ years’ experience in project management within the construction industry preferable
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve tight deadlines
