About the Role:

An excellent opportunity exists within CFA Finance – Shared Services. Reporting to the Manager Shared Services, within the centralised Accounts Payable function at corporate Headquarters, this position is responsible for the settlement of accounts in accordance with vendor terms and the management and constant review of internal controls.

More specifically the role involves:

  • Ensuring checking processes are completed including end of month reports, account reconciliations, petty cash and cab charge.
  • High level customer service and administrative support to internal and external clients
  • Development and maintenance of the CFA finance manual
  • Managing creditor account enquiries, payments and complaints
  • Up to date knowledge of policy, legislative process and system changes
  • Filing and document maintenance
  • Processing electronic purchase order invoices, manual vendor invoices, vendor payments and transactions
  • Ensuring Incident Finance processes are followed

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in Accounts Payable preferably in a large, diverse organisation. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a quality focus are essential to the role and you will have the ability to develop cooperative working relationships. Your computer skills, particularly in Excel and SAP accounting package will complement your ability to work proactively and with limited experience.
