JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a leading multinational pump manufacturer for the civil, mining, and industrial sector. The company has invested and developed its South Australian business significantly in recent years.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to further their existing footprint, working closely with key industry Dealers and End Users within the irrigation, industrial, and mining sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the achievement of the region’s annual sales targets
- Plan, organise and implement the company’s business development activities
- Build and grow the company’s network of dealers and distributors in the region
- Maintain accurate customer data using the company’s CRM system
- Preparation of quotes and providing technical customer support
- Maintain strong and effective customer relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience:
- A high achieving and self-motivated sales professional
- Previous experience in pumping equipment or related products is highly regarded
- Experience developing and managing multiple sales channels
- Excellent communication skills with customers & colleagues
- Extensive B2B sales experience and a strong customer focus
- Ability to communicate, motivate, mentor, engage and coach salespeople
