Role: B2B Business Development Manager

Based in Melbourne, Vush is a fast-growing female sexual wellness brand that is rapidly expanding. With over 360k social media followers in just 18 months, we aim to be the market leader in the female wellness space. We are looking for someone to join our team to bring value to our growing Business Development department!

To be an ideal candidate, you will have strong skills and passion in sales, wholesaler acquisition and business development with an extensive knowledge of e-commerce in the beauty and wellness space. Your day to day task will range from retailer & wholesaler acquisition, onboarding new retailers, researching potential retailers/wholesalers and assisting in pitches/presentations. You will report directly to the Head of Business Development whilst working closely with our marketing team and other areas of the business such as the influencer manager, social media manager and operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring new retailers nationally & globally, with a focus on wholesalers
  • Following up on leads, presenting NPDs and campaigns to existing contacts
  • Manage & prepare presentations to potential retailers / buyers
  • Assist Account Manager in day to day account management as required
  • Set up new retailers in Shopify Wholesale Plus 
  • Wholesale client sales relations
  • Work alongside the operations team to ensure SOH for upcoming retailer orders 
  • Researching, data basing and inquiring new leads
  • Assist in range reviews & promotional plan development as required
  • Raise potential NPD’s with marketing team as required
  • Assist with trade marketing, working alongside the marketing team 

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in expanding distribution into retailers, both local and global, essential
  • At least 3-5 years experience in sales and/or wholesale.
  • Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Slack etc 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent multitasking skills with good time-management.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Advocate of female sexuality and wellness!
