About the role:

With the growth that is happening in our Modular Buildings department and the launch of new residential designs this year, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Draftsperson to join our team in Braeside. The role requires someone with a passionate interest in the intricate detail and construction of our residential and commercial buildings using Durra Panel throughout the design process.

About You:

Your self-motivated and driven to make a difference with strong attention to detail. You enjoy sharing your passion for sustainable building and want to make an impactful change in the industry. 


  • Proficient experience with Revit/AutoCAD (AutoCAD a plus but not essential)
  • A high degree of technical, construction and design skills using Revit.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality & accurate plans and details.
  • Ability to handle all aspects of drafting from preliminary plans through to full working drawings on Revit
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach is essential to produce construction detailing and documentation.
  • Interpreting plans and understanding detailed drawings.
  • Update and modify designs based on new information and requirements.
  • Liaising with clients, construction team, engineers and council departments to ensure a smooth building process.

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Experience in the domestic or commercial building market.
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Exceptional time management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills when communicating with clients.
  • Proven negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to read plans, knowledge of council function and understanding of contracts.
  • Solid knowledge of design standards and preferably new home builds
  • Proven understanding of Australian Building Codes
