As a content writer, you will be responsible for implementing various elements of a client's content marketing strategy as instructed by the digital marketing manager. You will be required to produce content for pages on a website, landing page etc for multiple clients. With keeping SEO & conversions in mind, you will be optimizing current copy on a client's website (page titles, meta descriptions, h1s, alts, anchor text, etc.). 

Other duties may include writing new SEO-friendly copy for pages on a client's website, blog writing and posting, press release writing (as well as other forms of PR-media pitches, articles, etc.)

You will also be required to participate in client calls during campaign kick-off and as necessary thereafter. Researching trending topics within a variety of industries is also a key aspect of this role.

The preferred candidate will be: 

Passionate about increasing traffic numbers and crafting content people find interesting to read & act upon

Well versed with writing for SEO & CRO

A self-motivated team player with a can-do proactive attitude 

Innovative and a proven all-rounder: writing, editing, focusing on content and style and the preparation of material for websites 

Has impeccable grammar and spelling 

Passionate about connecting with audiences from a variety of industries 

Play a lead role in building a stronger digital presence for our clients 

Work as part of a collaborative team of marketers, designers and developers 

Ability to juggle many projects at once and thrives in a fast-paced environment 

Knowledge of content marketing a plus 

You will have: 

Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role, producing engaging, high-quality content that is on brief 

Has an understanding of SEO, meta titles, meta descriptions, reading scores, keyword density etc

Proven skills as a writer with the ability to create quality content for diverse audiences 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) 

Ability to multi-task with strong planning and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise your own workload; stick to a brief with high attention to detail 

Can write sales letters, ads copy & conversion based content

Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field e.g. Communications, Copywriting or equivalent 

Previous experience using content management systems (CMS) and/or working in an agency would be an advantage
