Avid Collective own and operate 7 media brands which all primarily engage audiences through a unique video format we call ‘video articles’, of which we produce 1,500 a month. We work with some of the largest brands in Australia from a wide variety of industries, including eBay, Unilever and Lion Dairy.

Role Overview:

Avid is looking for a Digital Media Sales & Partnerships Manager to join our expanding commercial team in 2021 and help drive ongoing growth of the business with our partnerships with the leading Holding Group agencies. 


This person should be experienced across digital agency sales and highly ambitious, love problem-solving on a daily basis and will have the passion to make a patch their own and drive significant growth.


Reporting to the Agency Sales Director, this role is focused on supporting across Holding Group meetings and proposal requests, liaising internally with the strategy team on proactive ideas for agency brands as well leading conversations with Account & Planning Managers across agencies.


You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roles with experience in new business generation and digital media. This role has an uncapped commission scheme to benefit high performers in the business.


Tasks & Requirements:

  • Research and support key agency sales meetings on a daily basis
  • Create and produce proposal documentation for response to briefs, proactive documents and sales meetings
  • Liaise with content and strategy teams for insights and support into sales documentation
  • Outreach and engagement of Account & Planning Managers across their patch
  • Competitor research and identification of opportunities for brands to integrate into Avid seamlessly


Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience working new business sales roles
  • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, including developing presentations for a range of industries, and ability to communicate complex concepts simply
  • Clear understanding of digital benchmarks and trading formats to understand client spends and behaviours in their marketing
  • Clear ability with Microsoft Excel, Google Slides
  • Excellent ability to engage new prospects and problem solve for clients to derive positive sales outcomes
  • Good understanding of Australian digital publishing landscape
  • Respectful of teams and strong communicators internally to develop proposals and projects in the right way.
