Becoming a Senior Account Manager


As a Senior Account Manager at Topham Guerin you will work in our Client Accounts team. You’ll be responsible for working closely with some of the brands we work with to help them achieve their goals. That means being their reliable main point of contact, developing ideas, leading campaign planning and reporting back to them.


As a Senior Account Manager at TG you will

  • Manage existing client accounts and onboard new client accounts
  • Be a trusted advisor and build excellent relationships with client points-of-contact
  • Be proactive with your clients and be the go-to problem-solver for them
  • Deliver results, meet deadlines and budgets, and exceed goals
  • Assist senior team members with client management, planning and strategy development
  • Liaise with creative, strategy and advertising specialists to support delivery of client projects
  • Manage, input, coordinate and follow-up client related tasks using Asana and other platforms
  • Analyse and report on campaigns to provide relevant insight to clients
  • Monitor campaign performance using relevant analytics software to inform decision-making
  • Prepare and organise client briefs, memos and documents to service client requests
  • Explore current and evolving digital tools to continually broaden our clients’ reach to their audiences
  • Continuously learn and develop your own skills and knowledge and provide input on new processes, systems and workflows
  • Manage regular campaign and client status updates


Requirements


What you bring to the role:

  • Confidence in writing and delivering marketing strategy
  • Strong listening skills and an enthusiasm to take your career to the next level
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Fantastic organisation and time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • An interest in politics, world issues and current affairs
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and a willingness to learn and grow


3+ years relevant experience in managing a client account portfolio at a creative or media agency, with the proven ability to:

  • Write accurate and detailed creative and production briefs
  • Manage all aspects of a project and deliver as per brief while demonstrating a thorough understanding of a client's market segment
  • Work closely with clients and creative team to ensure jobs are delivered in a timely manner and on budget
  • Develop high-quality documents and presentations for senior-level executives within client organisations
  • Deliver presentations and present creative concepts with a high level of professionalism
  • Create and maintain client files including financial forecasting
  • Work with suppliers to ensure professional delivery of services
  • Embrace a team attitude and work effectively taking ownership of tasks and project elements
  • Build strong and long-term client relationships
