About The Opportunity

This is an exciting permanent opportunity with a focus on record keeping and providing high level records support. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Records Services Clerk to join Council's Records team. You will provide records support to both Records and Electronic Document Management (EDM) teams to ensure records are administered in compliance with the NSW State Records Act 1998 along with ongoing support for the efficient and effective use of Council’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Essential

Qualifications and experience

  • Suitable work experience in Administration, Records Management and/or completion of the Higher School Certificate (HSC)
  • Strong attention to detail in a high volume information management area
  • High level computer literacy and ability to use a range of software products.


Remuneration And Benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
  • A competitive salary range of $1,008.20 - $1,129.10 (Grade 3) per week will be offered based on skills, qualifications and experience
  • 35 hour working week
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 9.5% employer superannuation contribution payable to the Local Government Superannuation Scheme, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
