About You

The role of Senior Consultant Events and Sponsorship is a key senior role within the Events & Sponsorships team managing the outsourced delivery of a portfolio of specifically tiered high profile events and sponsorships in conjunction with a variety of 3rd party agency suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration and project management of multiple event agencies and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of a variety of high profile events and sponsorships.
  • Management and end to end delivery of large scale, complex events and sponsorships in conjunction with key stakeholders to support overall business objectives.
  • Partner with the Business and Private Banking leadership team to develop event strategies to deliver against their strategic priorities and ensure return on investment.
  • Provide post implementation analysis of events & sponsorships that evaluate the success of the project and drive portfolio improvements going forward.
  • Enhance and execute existing marketing and organisational strategies that attract relative target audiences and increase event participation.
  • Implement event specific strategies to communicate messages to a wide range of audiences that are clear and timely.
  • Develop and maintain solutions for CRM integration to build better relationships with customers.
  • Provide targeted communication to stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to measure and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates using data and insights as directed

Your Capabilities, Experience & Qualifications will include:

  • Deep understanding of marketing disciplines including extensive experience in sponsorship and event program delivery within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a marketing professional with proven success through the development, implementation and delivery of marketing initiatives with particular focus on events marketing and sponsorship management.
  • Background in delivering large scale events in a complex environment, delivering multiple events at a time nationally.
  • Experience in project & event management, planning and delivery.
  • Proven ability to work with 3rd party event agencies.
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to engage and influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and professional or postgraduate qualification preferred.
