Previous experience in developing and facilitating a broad range of people and workforce strategies, and diversity and inclusion programs in a similar role will be highly regarded. Our successful candidate will be self-driven and seek to directly influence the key outcomes of the organisation.

Having a strong team culture is important to us, as such you will be collaborative leader who is a strong team player and open communicator.

About The Role

The Department of Regional NSW has established four priority locations across NSW (Queanbeyan, Dubbo, Armidale, and Coffs Harbour). The priority location identified for this role is Dubbo however Queanbeyan, Armidale, and Coffs Harbour would be considered for the right candidate. Applicants applying for this role must either live in the nominated location or within a 60 minute commute. We also welcome applicants who are willing to relocate to one of these thriving regional cities.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will drive people strategies which ensure that Regional NSW builds the necessary and desirable capabilities that meet current and future needs and provides expert advice around capability, talent management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and employee experience.

A key component of this role is implementing employee development policies and practices which position Regional NSW as an employer of choice, and foster a learning culture, building individual, team and organisational capabilities.
