Social Worker Community Child Health

Permanent Part Time - 3 days per week

Band 6 - $84,497 - $92,100 pro rata (+ 9.5% super)

Hobsons Bay City Council is currently seeking a qualified Social Worker to join its Enhanced Maternal and Child team, within the Community Child Health unit.

The team delivers a high-quality service to families with children from birth to school entry, focusing on early intervention, family strengthening initiatives and services that provide support for families experiencing vulnerability.

The successful applicant will provide case management to vulnerable families referred through the Maternal and Child Health Service and external agencies such as information, advice, support, safety plans and referrals, including for victims of family violence.

The social worker will collaborate on cases as appropriate, and advise other team members about appropriate referral options for those families experiencing short or long-term vulnerability.

Group clinical supervision will be provided to the successful applicant.
