Your Responsibilities

  • Working collaboratively in cross-functional teams with Marketing and Business Segment colleagues to develop campaign initiatives that assist in meeting objectives, with a specific focus on using data and insights to create relevant messaging which speaks to whole-of-customer needs
  • Pro-actively engage with stakeholders by supplying customer insights which determine appropriate analytics requirements to recommend marketing and customer engagement strategies
  • Implement personalised campaign strategies, across multiple channels
  • Data extraction, manipulation and analysis of customer and other data using analytical and data mining tools
  • Act as an expert in advising and promoting Test and Learn methodologies to ensure quality insights
  • Using advanced business acumen, translate complex business requirements and objectives into technical briefing to support the delivery of data-driven customer communications
  • Strategic analysis of below-the-line (BTL) campaigns and presentation of actionable insight and recommendations to business for future BTL marketing activities
  • Campaign data extraction, manipulation and analysis of customer and other data, using analytical and data mining tools
  • Generate and maintain campaign measurement reports; communicate learnings in an accessible manner to non-technical partners; and make recommendations for future activity
  • Refine and optimise campaign activities based on post-campaign analysis to maximise campaign profitability or marketing objectives
  • Deliver to deadlines by managing multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Team Responsibilities
  • Identify any customer engagement and growth opportunities within customer and business segments
  • Provide input with regards to market and competitive trends that are impacting segment customers and those that are seen as opportunities for new business
  • Help develop highly personalised customer value propositions considering channel, product and offer
  • Synthesise qualitative and quantitative data and facts from various sources to identify relationships and patterns, drawing logical conclusions
  • Responsible for carrying out the activities defined as per the agreed insights

Your Skills & Experience
  • Risk Mindset –All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.
  • 2+ years relevant experience (preferably in the Financial Services sector) in analytical CRM or customer insights
  • Strong SQL skills and experience dealing with large and complex data sets
  • Strong analytical, numerate and logical reasoning skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to define strategies to improve the effectiveness of the customer contact and customer experience
  • Ability to communicate insights and strategies both in writing and verbally
  • Advanced communication and engagement skills, with a collaborative style
  • Ability to articulate complex analytical requirements and findings in common non-technical terms
  • Experience of and/ or a desire to work within an Agile environment
  • Flexible approach and able to deal with change and develop new ways of working to drive continuous improvement
  • Past experience of working on a loyalty or rewards programme in any industry sector is highly desirable
  • Degree-level qualification in numeric or business discipline
