JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior P6 Planner | Perth based role

Successful Projects is a specialist project management and project controls enterprise located in Perth CBD with a core team of planning professionals. Candidates with appropriate experience will be invited to join our team as permanents.

This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and experienced working in Structural, Mechanical, Piping SMP projects for a multitude of Project services across the Project Planning, Monitoring & Controlling.

Your skills and qualifications will include:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering
  • At least 3 years' P6 planning and scheduling experience
  • At least 5 years' SMP experience
  • PMP preferred

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Preparation of programmes
  • Progress updates
  • Issue look ahead programs
  • Prepare dashboard reports
  • Assist in preparing/analysing of Extension of Time (EOT) claims

You must have demonstrated experience in the following skills and expertise:

  • Prepare program deliverables from Tender, Award and execution stages
  • Develop level 4 -5 detailed schedules from drawings and project specifications.
  • Identify critical path and interfaces between design / fabrication / procurement, construction execution and commissioning.
  • Assign resources and prepare manning histograms
  • Solid understanding of planning best practices
  • Setup, execution and maintenance of Earned Value management and Reporting;

Your level of communication:

  • Clear concise client correspondence including calls, emails, meetings and site visits.
  • Excellent communication and strong report writing skills
  • Team player but also able to work autonomously
