The Opportunity
Fulton Hogan's Manufacturing Business located in Hazelmere is currently seeking a Fixed Plant Operator to join our Production team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for
Operate asphalt plant and/or loader to produce asphalt to specifications.
Plan activities for production of asphalt
Communicate directly with customers to schedule orders and load vehicles
Work closely with quality control team to ensure asphalt meets customer specifications
Encourage safe work practices and ensure safety procedures are adhered to
Provide positive input at pre-starts, toolbox and safety meetings
Comply with relevant company policies, procedures and site rules
What we need from you?
Previous experience in a production environment would be an advantage but not essential
Commitment to workplace safety, quality and environmental practices
Availability to work extended hours, including night shift & weekends when required
Have some mechanical knowledge or experience in plant maintenance
A current WA Driver's License
HR or HC license will be an advantage
The successful candidate will be motivated, reliable and organised with the ability to execute a range of tasks and duties.
