What You Will Be Doing

This exciting grade 2 Physiotherapist opportunity is based within our Adult NDIS team, Community Health. The therapist will assist adult NDIS participants to achieve their goals by providing assessment and evidence-based interventions in the participant’s home or community setting.

Innovative person-centred care may include individualised therapy programs across a range of treatment modalities such as balance and falls prevention; postural positioning and transfers; fitness, endurance and strength building; pain management; non-complex pelvic floor treatment; and mobility and gait training. The role also includes prescription of relevant assistive technology and capacity building interventions to meet the goals of the NDIS participant.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
• Current Victorian driver’s license
• Current NDIS Worker Check (this can be easily applied for online prior to role commencement)
• Sound knowledge of current Physiotherapy theory, practice and capacity-building approaches applicable to NDIS participants.
• Previous experience working with NDIS participants in a multidisciplinary community setting (desirable)
