The Role:
The Y WA is currently recruiting for a Full Time Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Yappara House Early Learning Centre team. We are seeking a confident Educator with strong communication skills for this role building genuine relationships with parents, children, and staff.

Duties:
Job share and work together with the Room Leader in the Toddlers Room to develop a program that meets the needs of individual children and reflects children’s interest, development, culture, and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
To maintain the required developmental records of children as required by the Regulations, EYLF and the NQF.
Liaise, support, and assist parents in a friendly, non-judgemental, and confidential way.
Use a variety of strategies to encourage children to participate in activities.

Skills and Experience

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
An understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, the EYLF and the NQF
Experience developing and implementing programs
HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance and Working with Children check
Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre
