About the role
The Vehicle and Traffic Management Service ((VTMS) ensures that traffic flow and parking equipment is managed at Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH), as part of our vision to create Australia’s leading Healthcare Environment. We maintain a highly visible presence, engage with individuals, parking systems and respond rapidly and professionally to incidents.
The Parking Officer at Fiona Stanley Hospital is primarily responsible for issuing parking infringements, car park equipment maintenance, responding to parking related incidents, and the replenishment of parking machines

To be successful in this role you will have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Sound organisation and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Enjoys working outdoors and willing to work in all types of weather.
Sound computer literacy skills. Able to troubleshoot and solve problems
Experience working within a Health Care Environment (desirable) Experience utilising hand-held devices, preferably PDA’s (desirable)
