JOB DESCRIPTION

STATUS: Ongoing, Part Time
HOURS: 36.0 hours per fortnight
Do you want to be a valued team member within BRHS, assisting to provide respected healthcare services to our broader community? This vacancy sits within our energetic administration team and we're looking for a proactive individual to provide professional administration support within our clinical wards.
With a generous remuneration rate, evening penalties and an attractive 50% loading on weekend shifts; the roster is over 7 days a week. The base contract is part time with 36 hours over a fortnight ongoing with potential for additional shifts available due to boarder department service footprint. When applying, outline your experience and strengths by addressing the key selection criteria as listed below:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • A Certificate in Business or Business Administration is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person-centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user.
  • Compassionate and well-developed written and spoken communication skills.
  • A competent user of MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to produce simple business documents, and proficiency and experience working in client databases with good keyboard and accurate data entry skills.
  • The proven capacity to learn and adapt to different work areas in a proactive and positive manner, and be effective in a busy work environment.
  • A team player with the proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
