An exciting full time opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team based in Thornbury, full time on a Monday-friday roster. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all external and internal stock into the Thornbury Distribution Centre across all our entities. You will also liaise with Buyers and Department Team Leaders to ensure the stock integrity is at a high standard of accuracy.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manage Picking/Dispatch all Customer Orders (CO's) and assist when required for Division Orders (DO's)
  • Supervise Picking/Dispatch, checking process for accuracy and to ensure all orders are fulfilled.
  • Co-ordinate the team as required to fulfil day-to-day demand.
  • Ensuring consignments are correctly labelled and placed within assigned areas.
  • Assist with inventory control when required.
  • Investigate and reconcile all inventory issues.
  • Resource planning to maximise efficiency and ensure operational success
  • Identifying and recommending changes in the operational function to raise standards of performance
To be successful you will have:
  • Demonstrated 1-2 years' experience working in a leadership or supervisor role
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • High levels of organisational and administration skills
  • Forklift licence, MR licence – preferred
  • Strong Ability to liaise with other team leaders and the wider team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to support the team in capacities outside of the role responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution driven mindset
  • Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
