What you'll be doing
Responsible for the day to day management of activities relevant to and assisting in the planning, implementation and maintenance of clinical applications. This position will be responsible for these functions across four Local Health Districts (LHDs) – Far West Local Health District (FWLHD), Western Local Health District (WLHD), Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) and Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD).
Selection Criteria: * Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent work experience in supporting ICT services in a complex environment, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience with clinical processes (such as emergency, intensive care, inpatient, outpatient, operating theatre and/or community health services).
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of complex computerised clinical information systems.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in problem identification, analysis and resolution in a multi-user clinical information system.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of staff including clinical staff, management and technical staff; including excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in documenting procedures.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours when required, including on call support.
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
