JOB DESCRIPTION

HopgoodGanim is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Learning and Development Manager to join our Human Resources team. The Human Resources team is a high performing and tight-knit business partnering team that delivers exceptional service to our people through the delivery of contemporary and best practice people services.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and overall success of the Learning and Development framework, through innovative implementation of learning and training programs for our people. The principal responsibilities of the role include:

  • undertake a skills gap analysis of learning across the firm;
  • develop and implement a multi-year L&D strategy that aligns with the firm strategy
  • evolve the learning culture to a contemporary blended learning approach which enhances the learner experience and delivers ongoing organisational growth;
  • partner with partners and senior leaders of the firm to identify performance needs and design and deliver practical courses and materials;
  • source, develop, design and deliver technical and non-technical training courses;
  • research and predict requirements and trends for the industry and organise content;
  • implement a strategic evaluation framework for learning and lead continuous improvement efforts;
  • ensure the learning infrastructure including the LMS system and learning library are fit for purpose
  • establish learning governance, reporting and insights, and championing data led decision making.
You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, a strong ability to work and think creatively and independently and are polished and articulate in your presentation. You also demonstrate excellent literacy and communication skills and display strong leadership, team building and stakeholder management skills at all levels of seniority. You value a collaborative approach and will thrive working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will foster team development through your superior ability to build relationships and continuously motivate both participants and key stakeholders in the L&D programs.
