Based in Perth, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced NDT / Plant Inspector to join a team of highly regarded professionals. Our client is an industry leader in providing support for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Services to clients Australia wide.

To be considered for this role:

  • Proven experience in conducting inspections within heavy industry
  • Mechanical Engineering or Trade Qualification
  • AINDT or BINDT for MT, DT, UT, ET (desirable)
  • CSWIP or Welding inspector qualifications would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of applicable Australian Standards and Mines Safety Inspection Regulations 1995
  • IT savvy with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to produce high quality reporting within set timeframes and deadlines
As an NDT Technician you will be required to:
  • Perform inspections, audits and reviews on both mobile and fixed plant
  • Compile and maintain detailed hard copy and electronic inspection records
  • Produce high quality reports relating to inspection, audit and review activities
  • Review and verify all plant records for items inspected to ensure compliance with the relevant standards and legislation
  • Use specialist inspection and test equipment, gauges and other commonly used measuring devices as required in the performance of inspection and auditing and review functions
  • A statutory compliance of Plant and Machinery in accordance with the relevant legislation and standards
  • Provide technical; support and advice related to compliance matters
  • Manage non-conformance issues related to the Inspectors client base
