About Your Role

The Technical Officer is involved in all activities of production preparation and in providing technical assistance to production execution as assigned. This includes being the process owner for all processes in assigned sections with the responsibility for delivering technical solutions to identified production issues, for commencing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes capabilities, reduce production costs and improve quality and safety outcomes.

Assisting or leading resolution of production, process and quality issues as required through RCA or similar problem-solving techniques

Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance plans for process plant and equipment.

Develop and review supporting documentation for production campaigns and experimental trials.

Contribute to and lead the development and implementation of improvement projects

Provide technical support to production teams and supporting functions.

How About You?

Trade qualifications or Diploma in engineering (or equivalent) and experience in a diverse manufacturing setting

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal

Ability to use MS Office suite for writing reports, procedures and for data analysis.

Experience or ability to interpret drawings, learn new tools in configuration management and resolution of quality and safety issues.

A problem-solving mindset and ability to be involved in continuous improvement activities
