The Role

  • You will be the point of integration between the Claims, Portfolio, Product, IPMO, T&T & Risk by managing a pipeline of work effectively to ensure quality delivery of Document and Notice Changes.
  • The role will involve managing postage budget and work with the business to find continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cost
  • You will manage the outsourcing of work where appropriate and hold suppliers accountable to their contracts ie. WNS, Fuji Xerox, Computershare, Toll Stream and Australia Post.
  • You will also Manage Risk effectively in line with the Group Incident Management Standard and work with the team to identify root causes to issues to prevent reoccurrence.

  • Analyse, design and execute improvement initiatives both within and across teams including departmental boundaries
  • Participate in departmental and divisional initiatives required by the management team
  • Develop and drive value-based behaviours that support high performance and accountability
  • Provide an environment where individuals feel supported and safe and are motivated to perform
  • Maintain acceptable levels of absenteeism and lost time injury rates in accordance with the leader score card
Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Business, Commerce or Finance discipline
  • Project Management and/or consulting qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years Leadership experience of first line teams & demonstrated capability in developing & leading high performing teams virtually.
  • Operational improvement experience in people, process and systems
  • Proven capabilities in team and individual performance improvement
  • Able to communicate with confidence vertically & horizontally across Insurance.
  • Ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written
  • Strong understanding of modern business tools including reporting and business analysis tools
  • Strong understanding of the Group Incident Management Standard, and a demonstrated ability in end to end management of incidents.
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate and analyse data, to draw conclusions from the findings and to recommend solutions or opportunities for improvement
