About the Role:

In the District Support Officer position, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the District or Regional Office.

Detailed accountabilities of the role include:

  • Ensure the District / Regional administrative requirements are facilitated in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Prepare documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes, briefing notes, along with other aligned tasks on demand.
  • Provision of excellent customer service to internal and external clients, including effective and efficient drafting of correspondence and other communications on behalf of Managers and other staff.
  • Establish and maintain a professional network and co-operative relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate diaries, travel arrangements, stationary and other goods procurement, and comprehensive meeting tasks for Managers and other staff.
  • Perform data entry, filing, records administration and the administration of other related databases and systems (including electronic ones).
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in both administrative and customer service duties. Also, you will have experience drafting documents, correspondence and reports to a professional standard. In addition, you will have demonstrated organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work proactively and effectively, with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team. You will also bring computer literacy skills, including the MS Office suite and database management (experience with Infohub software will be looked upon favourably). Along with the above, you will display good communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to build good working relationships with key stakeholders.
