Property Officer
- Salary $81,453.32 - $94,486.23 p/a + super
- 35 hours per week - 10 month - Mat leave cover
- Class C Drivers Licence
Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the role of Property Officer. The Property Officer effectively manages Council's Commercial property portfolios with the view to optimise the financial return to Council while supporting delivery of services to the community, minimising risk and meeting statutory and legal requirements.
Reporting to the Manager Property, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively manage Council's community and commercial property portfolio
- Interpret, monitor and coordinate lease/licence documentation ensuring provisions are compliant and current
- Manage negotiations in respect of community leases and licences
- Assist in resolving high priority and often sensitive complex matters
- Effectively manage requests for owner's consent for building works on Council leased land and buildings
- Responding to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Degree or professional qualifications in property portfolio management
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with particular emphasis in the areas of consultation, negotiation and conflict management
- Class C Drivers Licence
