Your new role
  • Branch Manager for Incineration Plant
  • Overseeing the incineration operations, driving efficiency, and achieving operational targets
  • Be responsible for receiving, processing and final destination of waste through the site
  • Identify and report critical issues in the facility
  • Work with the team towards innovation and lean manufacturing practices
  • P&L reporting, budget preparation, forecasting reviews and financial performance
  • Performance reviews, talent management and succession planning
  • Develop and introduce a new/ revised operational improvement program
Skills and experience
  • Over 5 years' experience in a hands-on operational management role
  • Demonstrated Safety and Environmental compliance record
  • Chemical industry, manufacturing and/or hazardous waste background preferred
  • Experience in Thermal Process (Incineration/Furness knowledge) preferred
  • Strong knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing principles implementation
  • High level of commercial acumen and numeracy
  • Experience with regulators (EPA, Council, Safety, etc)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions
  • High level of Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication with all levels
