Michael Page is proud to be partnering with Inaba, specialists in pet treats for over 60 years and have a 200 year history manufacturing high quality human grade foods. Founded in Japan in 1805. Due to global expansion they are looking for an experienced Brand Advocate to promote their brand and products within the North Sydney region. Inaba has become an innovative leader in many food segments and pride themselves on using the same high quality, world class processing, extensive research and attention to detail across both human foods and pet foods. Inaba are a trusted brand in over 30 countries and are now entering the Australian market to deliver the same high quality products to pet parents across Australia.


Reporting to the National Manager for ANZ your role as the Brand Advocate will be although not limited to:

  • Represent the Inaba Brand and products to key stakeholders of independent pet stores across the wider North Sydney region.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide a high level of customer service
  • Build on our current success in the Australian marketplace
  • Work autonomously to manage your monthly call plan and growing accounts
  • Identify and capitalise on local market opportunities to build sales and profitability
  • Merchandising and activating promotional plans with customers


To be successful for the role you will have:

  • Drive, motivation, and a passion for sales.
  • Proven sales experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in the pet industry a MUST
  • Outstanding customer service focus and communication skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • High levels of resilience and problem-solving skills
  • Opmetrix or similar experience an advantage
  • Someone who works collaboratively with others, and is passionate about the pet industry
