Boardroom Waiter
The purpose of this role is to manage all CS F&B areas providing industry leading customer service to internal stakeholders and external clients while ensuring all our customer's needs have been met in a timely and cost effective way.
Candidates must have availability to work Monday - Friday across the hours of 7am - 7pm and commit to 38 hours per week.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have previous Food and Beverage experience (min 2 years)
- Minimum 1 year boardroom experience in Australia in Corporate environment
- Has strong interpersonal skills & reliability.
- Barista skills
- RSA
- Must have a passion for customer service and the ability to drive outstanding results
Your Responsibilities:
This position requires you to work closely with the Events and kitchen teams to ensure we deliver extraordinary customer service as well as:
- Service multiple events during the day, ranging from plated breakfasts, tea/coffee meetings, morning/afternoon teas, informal sandwich lunches, buffet lunches, 2/3 course formal lunches to cocktail functions, 2/3 course formal dinners, degustation dinners, all-day executive level conferencing and off-site functions.
- Provide Food and Beverage service consistently at a level comparable to a 5 star deluxe hotel or a Hatted/Michelin starred restaurant.
- Manage customer expectations and maintain high customer service levels
- Assist with customer complaints and provide suitable outcomes in consultation with Boardroom Supervisors and Team Leaders.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with all daily meeting room set ups, formal dining and cocktail functions.
- Ensure the meeting rooms are adequately cleaned and refreshed at all times.
- Coffee making.
- Follow stock rotation guidelines.
- Develop an understanding of charge back procedures across our sites.
- Minimise wastage and identify cost saving initiatives.
- Maintain company standards and OH&S procedures and identify problem areas.
- Be able to work unsupervised.
- Be well presented and groomed.
