• Assist students with all queries at Student Counter – this involves fees, payments, forms for functions and locating staff

• Entering late arrivals and early departures in Synergetic

• Assisting with fee payments as well as petty cash and eftpos

• Relief reception – manage all incoming and outgoing calls ensuring all messages are distributed and visitors directed

• Assist with filing/archive filing

• Checking systems for student information on behalf of staff

• Assist in some afterhours work in relation to college open nights, functions and parent/teacher interviews and assemblies as per an administration staff roster

• Assisting with organisation of LOTE trips, Immersion trips and college functions

• Answering and directing incoming phone calls to relevant staff

• Greeting and directing visitors and new staff

• Responding to questions and requests for information i.e. Students, Staff, Parents, Visitors.

• Data Entry

• Covering Reception and Student Counter

• Other duties as required

Demonstrated High Level Experience in:

• Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrated experience in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications

• Demonstrated experience in using Mail Merge functionality in Microsoft Office

• Demonstrated experience in using advanced functionality in Microsoft Excel, including data sources and formulas


• Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

• Knowledge of Synergetic would be an advantage

• Ability to prioritise work

• Ability to be fully flexible, working on numerous tasks at once/multitasking

• Attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

• Excellent customer service and administration skills

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously

• Excellent verbal and communication skills

• Problem solving

• Understanding, handling and appreciation of privacy and confidentiality


• Tertiary qualification (Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree)
