About Department
The People Services Department provides all facets of Generalist HR Services including Employee and Industrial Relations, Attraction, Recruitment and Selection, HR Consultancy and Payroll Services. The People Services Reception role supports these functions.

About the Role
To provide a full range of reception and customer service duties to the Human Resources and Payroll Departments including managing enquiries from internal and external customers by phone, email and face to face. The role will also provide administrative support.

The classification for this position is HS1 ($29.58 per hour)


  • Respond to all enquiries via the phone, email and in person in a timely manner
  • Greet customers to the department with a high level of customer service
  • Direct all enquiries using appropriate resources e.g. Intranet Site, G:/Drive, HR Consultants, Payroll for accurate response to queries.
  • Collect and disperse mail and all documents, daily and as required.
  • Utilise data systems such as Workday and CHRIS21 to answer enquiries

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV or equivalent Office Administration preferred
  • Highly developed customer service skills essential
  • Comprehensive administrative and office management skills
  • Demonstrated Time Management and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
