Overall purpose of the Position

The purpose of this role is to maximise data and analytics to understand the predictive consumer behaviour of Secure customers. Analysing our mix of products and each product availability and price against demand to optimise and generate the maximum amount of revenue possible is fundamental to this role

This role will advise key stakeholders on market pricing to increase revenue through matching the markets supply and demand for our products to enable successful revenue management outcomes (utilisation and rates) through the Sales and Portfolio Management teams.

The key to success in this role is to consistently deliver recommendations to the business stakeholders that ensure Secure are selling the right product to the right customer at the right moment at the right price via the right distribution channel with the best gross margin (GOS) and increased revenue outcomes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Revenue Management

  • Understand and apply the principles of revenue management to optimise the revenue of the company (through optimal utilisation and rates)
  • Establish and ongoing improvement and development of the system to assist in comparing the market, along with our own data, and setting customer prices that maximise our profits.
  • Independently develop new data modelling (dynamic and predictive) within a database environment, regularly liaise with the Portfolio Managers and Marketing teams to develop and maintain reports for actionable insights.
  • Develop and improve standard yield/utilisation KPI's, revenue report templates, presentations, and methodologies
  • Lead development of innovative methods and tools for reviewing, analysing, forecasting and presenting on revenue achievements
  • Create and amend procedures as necessary to ensure stakeholders engagement and continuous improvement
  • Use the Secure enterprise CRM (Office 365) to load, track and report on product competitiveness cases, and manage communication with Portfolio Managers, Marketing and other key stakeholders
  • Maintain governance of revenue management and pricing framework and policies

Actions and Ownership

  • Develop data solutions and reporting for pricing performance across all products and markets
  • Be responsible for price changes upload process with accuracy, consistency and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of specific market segments, acquire deep market intelligence in order to advise our selling businesses on pricing related strategies.

General responsibilities

  • Provide ad-hoc commercial analysis and insights.
  • Assist with projects and work as required.
  • Take the initiate to improve systems and processes.
  • Work as a team across all key stakeholders and ensure all deadlines are met.

  • Establish and maintain effective and harmonious work relationships with colleagues and managers.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Recommend car park utilisation and rate that maximises yield/revenue
  • Develop and maintain revenue management and pricing models
    Governance of revenue management and pricing framework and policies
  • Knowledge transfer of yield management strategies to Portfolio Managers

Selection Criteria

  1. 4 years' experience in a relevant revenue or yield management role.
  2. Financial/Regression modelling experience preferred (e.g. revenue optimisation models).
  3. Technologically savvy; strong MS Excel and database skills. Experience with Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Power BI).
  4. Computerised financial systems.
  5. Project Management experience preferable (defining project requirements, tracking and driving stakeholder actions to ensure achievement of project milestones).
  6. Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to persuade, negotiate and resolve conflict.
  7. Ability to interpret financial management report
