  • Workskil Australia is a national not-for-profit organisation, with almost 40 years of supporting Australians to achieve sustained economic and social self-reliance. Our 670 staff do this by providing a range of employment, work experience, disability, youth, Indigenous and health services across New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia and Victoria. We are looking to appoint an Audit Manager in a full-time capacity, based at our Head Office in Melrose Park, SA. The Audit Manager is responsible for ensuring that compliance requirements of operational programs are evaluated and areas for improvement are identified. Delivery of high-calibre audit activity helps ensure both the contractual compliance with our funding arrangements, but also drive accountability for a values-based customer service culture across our staff. Whilst this role is for a 12 month period, we are always looking for staff to assist with the growth of the organisation. Successful delivery of the role will open up doors for alternate opportunities across our Quality and Audit, Business Improvement or other Support Services teams.

    You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice.     Do you have the skills to manage concurrent audit activity for a fast-paced, complex organisation?

    At Workskil Australia our staff take pride in the services we deliver for our clients, and the social and personal outcomes we achieve. This hands-on role will work closely with all aspects of our business to ensure the strength of the compliance activities within the organisation. You will manage an internal team of auditors to deliver our Compliance Audit Plan and to respond to funding body audit activity. Your ability to effectively distil and identify issues will allow our business to rapidly respond to risks and ensure the ongoing quality of our service delivery. You must have experience in the delivery of results in a fast-paced environment, and have an understanding of the value that quality audit services can deliver. If you are a dynamic, collaborative individual, we want to hear from you. Previous management or engagement management experience is essential.

    This position has a strong requirement for time management and self-organisation skills to navigate the daily challenges of busy audit activities in a fast paced environment. We’re looking for a level-headed, logical thinker who has an ability to learn quickly, seek input and communicate effectively.

    Remuneration

    You will have a tertiary level qualification in a relevant business discipline, and/or a minimum five years’ experience in a similar role. A salary circa $110,000 p.a. (plus salary sacrificing) will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on qualifications and experience.
